Matt Flynn - Our first free agent to mull over is arguably the quarterback with the most to gain and the most potential in the class. Matt Flynn has shown flashes of brilliance during his short tenure in Green Bay, backing up star quarterback and reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers. However despite that, Green Bay clearly has shown no signs of bringing Flynn back for the 2012 season and frankly, why would they? They've got Rodgers, they're set for a while. With that all said though, Flynn is a free agent and will be courted by several teams looking for a quarterback this offseason. Expect Cleveland, Washington, and Miami to all be courting the LSU alum and for him to get paid. (The jury's out on whether or not it'll be justified)

Alex Smith - If you were to tell me that Alex Smith would have done what he did this season with the San Francisco 49ers, I would have distanced myself away from you because I would think you're the stupidest person alive. However, that's not the case, and Smith did a fine job for himself this season: his best one yet. Despite this however, I don't expect many teams to come calling for Alex, and deservedly so. Who is to say he'll continue being the commodity that he was this season? Because of this there is no reason to believe Smith will be wearing any uniform other than the one he has worn since being selected first overall in 2005.

Jason Campbell - I'm of the belief that the Raiders were in better shape pre-Carson Palmer when Jason Campbell was playing than post-Carson Palmer when Carson Palmer was dealt to the Bay Area. It's a very limited camp, but Campbell isn't a bad choice for a team out there looking for a stop-gap quarterback or someone to stop the bleeding. That means you, New York Jets. Campbell would probably find himself in a good role wherever he goes from what I believe, and I believe he ends up donning green and white, actually.

David Garrard - The wild card of the quarterback free agent class checks in here. Would many teams take a productive quarterback at the age of 34? That's what's left to be decided. If he's fully healthy from the injuries that got him cut from Jacksonville and without a job during the 2011 season, whichever team that takes on Garrard may reap some solid rewards from him. Say what you want about Garrard, but there is no denying that he is far from awful and, probably still at this point, a better option for Jacksonville than Blaine Gabbert is right now. For now, we'll take a shot in the dark.

Kyle Orton - The last several years have been somewhat of a whirlwind for ol' Neckbeard. Going from Chicago to Denver in the famed Jay Cutler trade. Having a great 2009 under the McDaniels system, and then getting run out of town by Timothy Tebow and going to Kansas City where they nearly made a run at making the playoffs. Orton's ties were cut with KC after the 2011 season and now he finds himself as a free agent. Given that I see Washington getting Robert Griffin III since Cleveland does not want to part with the 22nd pick and Dan Snyder will most likely have an assortment of picks to shell out for the superstar prospect, I see the mediocrity train rolling along in Cleveland. But hey at least they make great tourism videos.
