Jawan Jamison's (above, left) stiff arm here was not the only story last night. (Credit: Sean O'Meara/Associated Press) |
Now obviously last night's main topic of discussion was the Green Bay Packers defeating the Chicago Bears (which I correctly predicted) by the score of 23-10. That play featured a heck of a trick play with Tom Crabtree scoring on a fake field goal. What you might not have seen however was arguably the second best play of the entire evening. In a Thirsty Thursday edition of college football from the ever-so-wonderful Big East Conference, the Rutgers Scarlet Knights defeated the South Florida Bulls (also correctly predicted). Rutgers running back Jawan Jamison was the story and not just for his 41 carries that amassed 151 yards, either.
With the score at 16-13, the Scarlet Knights needed to find a way to ice the game. What they weren't expecting was for Jamison to pull a video game maneuver to effectively snuff out the Bulls' chances to win the game. Here is said maneuver for your viewing pleasure:
And if that's not good enough for you, here it is in .GIF form, too:

The state of New Jersey loves you yesterday and today, Jawan Jamison. As do football video game lovers. Circle button -- and R2 for turbo!!!
