As alluded to last night in this tweet and this tweet from UniWatch, the San Antonio Spurs unveiled their new alternate jersey this afternoon. To say the least from the picture above, it's very... simple. Nothing gaudy, nothing flashy, nothing outrageous and eye-popping. Just the Spur logo in the center, with a number on the left chest, a "SA" down in the right corner of the shorts, and gray all over with black and white accents.

Sort of an embodiment of the franchise, eh? Nothing flashy, nothing in your face, but it gets the job done and it gets it done well. I'm personally a big fan of these jerseys, and while some would say that they are boring (which is arguable) and the Spur logo is a bit awkward (also arguable), the simplicity of it really is knocked down.

The Spurs will be donning these new threads against the Oklahoma City Thunder in their home opener on November 1, and will be worn on numerous occasions, says NBA.com. Also you can see that they will be on sale on October 6.
