(H/T @ SportsGrid)
We all remember James Harden getting viciously elbowed by Ron Artest Metta World Peace a couple of weeks ago at the STAPLES Center. That elbow subsequently led to James Harden being concussed and missing some time on the court, and outrage from sportswriters and the general public everywhere (as well as a hefty suspension for MWP). Well, last night at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals, James Harden got a little bit of payback.
Now obviously, Harden's elbow was not as vicious as MWP's, and MWP did not get concussed which would have been a true, strong measure of pay back. But you had to figure karma was going to bite him eventually and that is exactly what occurred in this instance. Perhaps Metta will think twice next time before wildly throwing elbows. Or, perhaps not, and he'll continue to partake in mosh-pit action in the paint.
