NFL Picks -- Week 11

Week 11 of the NFL season is here, and before we know it, we're going to be talking playoffs. (PLAYOFFS?!) Alright, now that I got that out of my system, it's time to look ahead to this week. We've got the renewal of an AFC rivalry that at one time featured the best quarterbacks in the league, and now features one all-time great, and one who is looking like a pretty damn good quarterback in the NFL. We have another renewal of an AFC rivalry that's still going strong, between two teams that have dominated the AFC North since its inception. We have a clash of two of the strongest defenses in not only the NFC, but the entire league. The Buffalo Bills have a primetime game this week (!). The Black-and-Blue Division gets a battle of its own (that might get ugly) and, of course, the Nick Foles era might be on its way to beginning in the D.C. Metro Area. Let's get on with the picking, shall we?

Miami Dolphins vs. Buffalo Bills

Okay, so when the season started, this matchup did not look very attractive. To this point, it's really not that attractive either. The Buffalo Bills defense, which was supposed to be very good, is historically bad. The offense is skittish, and the quarterback play still, ever since Jim Kelly left, is not great. The Miami Dolphins though, have been a very pleasant surprise this year. Reggie Bush has been a bright spot, and Cameron Wake is turning himself into a pass rushing phenom. I want to see how the Bills' interior defensive linemen stack up against a pretty darn good interior offensive line for the Dolphins. Kyle Williams has been freakishly good this year, but so have Mike Pouncey, and Richie Incognito, at least in terms of pass blocking for the later. If Williams can be disruptive he can make some game-changing plays but overall I like the Dolphins to win this game. It will be interesting to see how Joe Philbin and Ryan Tannehill respond after a brutal loss last week to Tennessee. I think they respond pretty well to the task, and come out of Buffalo with a victory.
